The reason is that the HEIC photos are already smaller than Google's compressed JPEG format, so the Photos app doesn't convert them during upload, meaning the pictures are essentially stored. If you have problems with the heics in apps unrelated to Google Photos like mail or social media, you can remove the original files in the Samsung-gallery and thereafter you can download their jpg-versions from Google Photos - assuming that your backupsetting was on High Quality for free (unlimited) storage at Google. After downloading all my data from google photos, I am not able to see most of my images, where all are coming bltadwin.ru format if it comes likes this,what is the use of downloading my data.
